Family and Apartment stays

You can choose to stay and live with a Cusquenian family and experience the way they live during your stay here. We highly recommend a family stay above a stay in a hostel or hotel, because in this way you pick up the every day vocabulary more easily. You are encouraged to communicate in Spanish, as in most cases the family doesn�t speak any English. The family can also take you to different places you normally wouldn't go to.

The familie picks you up from the airport in Cusco, offers you a comfortable private room with keys to their home, hot water and 3 meals a day (3 important times to speak Spanish).

You can experience the Cusquenian life in a different, more independent way. When you choose to stay in an apartment, you can buy and prepare your own food, meaning that you have to do purchases in the many open air markets, local shops or supermarkets. You can stay in private or shared apartments.

The private apartments are situated in a safe area in the center of Cusco, near the school and the main square, both at about 5 minutes walking distance. They are basic studio apartments for 1 or 2 persons, have a small kitchen with 2 stoves, basic cooking gear, a refrigerator, a shower / toilet and a living area with cable television. In the center there is no water pressure in the afternoons, in the morning and evenings you have water. All services are included; water, gas, electricity. There are more students staying at the same complex, so if you want to, contacts are easily made.

The shared apartments have 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms, like a student flat. We have shared apartments at the school location and at walking distance to the school. They are completely furnished with a kitchen with 4 stoves and an oven, a refrigerator, a shared shower / toilet, a living area with cable television. At the school location hot water is offered 24 hours a day, using a reservoir and pump.
