You can study in small groups, individually or semi-individually (2 students with 1 teacher).
We teach Spanish from beginners to students with an advanced level, constantly updating materials we use in class
and exploring new ways to explain or practice grammar. Important is that the students have a pleasant experience while
learning the language.
Group classesare given to
a maximum of 6 persons, to ensure individual attention as well
as the positive aspects of group interaction, such as the possibility to learn from other students' questions and dynamics such as role plays or games.
The persons in the group
must have the same Spanish proficiency.
Group classes are from Monday until Friday and are 4 60-minute-hours a day, so 20 hours per week.
They can take place in the morning from 8:30 to 12:50, with a break from 10:30 to 10:50,
or in the afternoon from 14:00 to 18:20, with a break from 16:00 to 16:20, depending on your level.
Normally the first hour of lessons is used to go over the items learned the day before and to check your homework.
The second hour of class, a new grammar item is introduced.
After the break, the following two hours consist of practice, using the new grammar learned in conversation, listening, reading and writing.
The teachers use different teaching materials for this such as texts, audio / visual materials, games, etc.
Group lessons have a fixed structure, with every day a new grammar item. Every week we have different groups at different levels starting.
How many weeks?
If you are a beginner, you can study 2 weeks , so 40 hours of classes, to get up to a level that you can have simple conversations in the streets.
Within this period you'll learn the Spanish alphabet, pronunciation rules,
everyday and useful vocabulary, personal pronouns, the articles, nouns,
both gender, singular and plural, the adjectives, the difference between
ser and estar (two verbs that express to be), difference between haber
and estar, present time, regular and irregular verbs, and basic structures of sentences.
If you study 4 weeks you have a good understanding of modo indicativo
(modos are groups of verb times) to express yourself in the different past tenses. To cover the main tenses, there are about 14 in Spanish, you would study about 10 weeks in a group.
When you have already studied Spanish, you need to make a placement test to assess your grammar level first. Then we can check which group suits you and give you a estimate of the progress you can make given the time you have.
classes are more flexible, you can take 2 or 4 hours a day, some or all days of the week. The classes will be tailor-made according
to your wishes. Individual lessons are a good option;
- If you want to review specific grammar items
- If there is a big difference between your oral and your written level
- If you want to prepare for an international Spanish exam, such as DELE
- If you do not fit in a group level
- If you are a professional and you want to learn specific vocabulary, such as a technical or medical.
- If you do not have time to study from Monday until Friday.
We also teach Spanish to children from 6 to 14 years old in a special
and individual way, using games, drawings and fairy tales.
On Saturday mornings you can do individual lessons as well!!
Apart from individual and group lessons you can
take semi-individual lessons.
Semi-individual lessons are possible if you are a group of friends or a couple.
They are organized for 2 persons minimum, who have the same level. These lessons are as flexible as
individual lessons. This means that you can take 2 or 4 hours a day, all or some days a week (except Sunday) and you can focus on a grammar item, conversation, specific vocabulary etc.
COST 25 soles per hour per person.
A combination of group classes and individual
classes, is also possible. For example;
- the first 2 weeks in a group and the second 2 weeks individual.
- or in the morning 4 hours of group lessons and in the afternoon 2 hours
of individual lessons. During these extra individual lessons the teacher can focus on vocabulary, or go over items you already did during the group lessons.
Students can decide every week which type of
lessons fits best their needs.
We provide you with a handout, on the avarage a 20 to 25 page document, at the start of every
cluster of grammar items. These handout are dynamic and active. Some grammar items are presented top down
(first grammar then practice) or the other way arround, incorporating different learning styles.
You also get a notebook and a pen.
The objective is not
only that you have a good understanding of grammar, but also that you
know how to use it while writing, speaking and reading.
Speaking: A very important objective of the lessons is that you use the
grammar learned to have conversations in the streets. Teachers will use
materials, roll plays and activities to make you talk about different
subjects, using all the grammar you've had before.
Reading: You get to read articles, literature, fairy tales, and more...
out loud. This will improve your pronunciation and you will learn new
vocabulary. These reading texts are also used to open up discussions, opportunities to talk.
Listening: The lessons are given in Spanish, so you will be immersed as from day 1.
Materials to improve your listening skills are songs,
filling in the missing words, recorded fairy tales or videos. All these
materials are used to practice specific grammar subjects and also serve to open up discussions.
Writing: Your writing skills are tested while making exercises in class,
writing short stories or making homework.
Grammar: Grammar is taught in an interactive way using the provided handouts. The teachers will test
your understanding constantly by asking examples to you.
Testing: Teachers will test your speaking, reading, listening and writing
level constantly in class by practicing it with you. You can also ask
for a test after a period of time to measure your progress.
One of the objectives of the school is to make students feel at home. This is done by
giving personal attention, but also by offering free tea and coffee, the use of computers connected to internet, free WiFi, comfortable
sitting areas and a fussball table to play in the breaks.
We have a small cafetaria at the school where you can eat breakfast, lunch or a snack in the breaks.
We are very proud of the teachers working at the school. Creating a good workspace is very important to us, as it directly effects the quality of the lessons.
Our courses are taught by teachers who speak Spanish as a native language to assure effective and fast learning.
The objective is that you speak as much Spanish as possible.
The teachers have a good understanding of the English language to help you get started with the basic vocabulary.
Teachers all have a lot of experience working with different students with differnt learning types.
To ensure a uniform way of teaching teachers all have completed an in house training program.
Here we present you the teachers we have.

The teachers are rotated every week, this way you have the opportunity
to experience different teaching styles and will be able to share different
subjects of conversation (vocabulary). Nevertheless you can ask for more time with the
same teacher, if you find his or her teaching style more appropriate to
your learning needs.
