| Many travellers are, now more than ever, being attracted
to visit this region of the world and the ancient spirituality of the Andes
is increasingly being revived and shared with all those willing to open
to it.
The 4 day tour will take you to some of the most powerful sites of the
region, where you will witness the incredible beauty of the scenery, participate
in sacred ceremonies and be cleansed by the waters and energies of Lake
Titicaca.
Day 1
You can choose various means to go from Cusco to Puno. See the "Included
/ Excluded" seccion for the options.
Day 2
After a buffet breakfast, you go by private transport to the "Gate
of the Gods". You participate in the first ceremony there and you'll
be able to stand in the doorway within the centre of the massive stone
wall and experience its energy. Even people who have claimed to be insensitive
to energies have had amazing experiences at this doorway. And, who knows,
you might even go through it to see other dimensions...
You then head for the border and into Bolivia, to the coastal town of
Copacabana, where you check into a hotel and go out for lunch.
In the afternoon, you walk up to the Intiwatana, a pre-inca astronomic
observatory. You visit this site, learn about its ancient purpose and
participate in a ceremony known as "Pago" (offering), performed
by a local shaman.
You next walk back into town, where you can relax and later go out for
dinner before returning to the hotel for the night.
Day 3
You'll catch a private boat around 7:00 in the morning.
You enjoy a packed breakfast on the boat during the first part of the
trip which will take you to the Island of the Moon. Those who wish are
able to cleanse themselves and swim in the lake before walking up to the
Temple where a ceremony will be held.
The boat will then head for the northern part of the Island of the Sun
and land at the village of Challapampa. From there, you will take a 45-minute
walk up to the Puma Rock, the Ceremonial Table, the remains of the Chinkana
inca settlement and the Sacred Water Spring that lies within it. You'll
have a packed lunch and perform a purification ceremony with the Sacred
Water.
Once you've walked back down to the boat, it will take you to the southern
part of the island and the village of Yumani. You climb a set of inca
steps to reach "Las Tres Fuentes", a stone fountain containing
three springs. You will purify once again with the Sacred Water and will
each be able to fill a bottle to take back and share with others.
Next, you go back to Copacabana. There you can rest for a bit in the hotel
or visit the town before going out for dinner and back to the hotel for
the night.
Day 4
You will have the morning to visit Copacabana, before having an early
lunch out and catching the bus back to Cusco, or to La Paz for those wishing
to continue their travel into Bolivia.
