Day 1
These trips include the transportation to Lake Titicaca and 1 night in
a hotel in Puno. The next day you can spend visiting the famous Uros Islands
and Taquile Island, or Uros and the Sillustani ruins.

Day 2, full day, Uros and Taquile Island
In the night or during the day a bus takes you from Cusco to Puno, where
you will be brought to your hotel. The next morning you will be transfered
from your hotel to the port and by motor boat to one of the Uros islands.
You will observe how the Uros people live on their famous floating reed
islands, some only 20 metres in length.
After a 2 hour boat ride you'll reach Taquile island where you will get
a tour around the ruins and learn about their intricate and fascinating
weavings. Lunch, the return trip to Puno and the transfer back to the
hotel are included.

Day 2, full day Uros and Sillustani ruins
The ruins are located 34 km from Puno at an altitute of 3840 meters above
sea level near lake Umayo, in the district of Atuncolla. Here you can
appreciate the Chullpas (remains of tombs) funeral constructions
of different times and typical only in Latin American cultures. After
your visit you will go back to Puno by bus.

After the transportation from Cusco to Lake Titicaca, you can also choose
to do a 2 day trip to Lake Titicaca, visiting Uros and the islands Amantani
and Taquile. You spend the night with a typical family on the island.
Day 2
The tour of the Uros, Taquile and Amantani Islands departs at 8.30 in
the morning and include transport from your hotel to the port, transport
by motor boat stopping at the Uros Islands for 30 minutes before departing
to the island of Amantani. This island is very beautiful and peaceful,
and in many ways less spoiled than Taquile. There are six villages and
ruins on both of the island's peaks, Pacha Tata and Pacha Mama, from which
there are excellent views. There are no hotels on Amantani but on arrival
the group will break into smaller groups for overnight stays with local
families.
Day 3
The tour price includes accommodation, lunch and evening meal on the
first day and breakfast the following morning. you will leave Amantani
at 8:00 in the morning for the 1 hour and 45 minutes boat ride to Taquile
where you will visit the main village and ruins. You will leave the island
at about 14:00, arriving back in Puno at approximately 16.50. An English
speaking guide, entrance fees and transfer from the port back to your
hotel are usually included.
