The school also setted up an afterschool project in june 2012 in a marginal area of Cusco, a 20 minutes taxi ride from the center. Volunteers here work with about 20 kids of primary school age. They help the kids in the afternoons with their homework, do creative activities, teach English and give presentations about customs, health and other topics of interest for the kids.
The building where the activities take place is owned by the school, so the project is thought of to be durable and continuous. Please visit the Facebook page for more information.
